Delphine Sydnor, Director Tabitha House was opened on October 10, 1997 through the vision of a handful of people seeing the need for a women's facility in the Kansas City area for those suffering from substance abuse. Delphine Sydnor became the Resident Director at that time and is still serving in that capacity. Delphine's burden for addicted women is deeply rooted in her own deliverance. Tabitha House has grown in reputation throughout the Midwest recon over the past seven years, and incorporated under its own name as a 501 (c)(3) in May of 2002.
Our vision is that Tabitha House will expand to a facilityable to house 100 women, snatching them from the grip of the devil, ministering to women from all over the Nation and ultimately seeing those same women being powerfully used for the Kingdom of God.
Tabitha House is Christian live in treatment facility ministering to women who have a problem with substance abuse. We seek to provide spiritual and emotional support, as well as life skills necessary to live a victorious life. We are located in Kansas City, in the inner city, but we will take women from anywhere in anyway at anytime.
Our primary purpose is to aid the addicted woman in recovery, using guidelines laid out for us in the Word of God. We believe that as a woman begins to grow in the knowledge of the Lord and His will for their lives, they will receive the tools to enable them to live a quality lifestyle as God restores them in spirit, soul, and body.
