Frequently Asked Questions

1. What makes Sheffield so different from any other church?

Sheffield is a multicultural, multiracial metropolitan church located in the Northeast section of Kansas City, Missouri that believes every word of the Bible.

2. How many people attend Sheffield on a regular basis?

There are about 6,000 people that attend our four services during the week.

3. Wouldn't it be hard to be involved in ministry with a church so large?

That's actually what makes it easier because it allows the church to develop more ministries "to reach as many people in as many ways possible." As of right now, we have over sixty active ministries.

4.  How do I get involved?

In order to start working in a ministry of the church or to become a member, it is required that each individual complete the Leadership Membership class.  This class is an 8-week discipleship training course that covers basic foundational truths of Christianity.  The Leadership Membership class is held Sunday at 9:00 am, in the Chapel.
